The Port Townsend Family Orchestra (PTFO)  is a true community music endeavor, committed to learning, growth, great music and FUN.

Started in 2007, the Orchestra was led by founding director Barbara Henry until summer of  2013, when leadership of the Orchestra passed on to Fred Nussbaum and Gary Fredrick, experienced teachers and ensemble leaders of both adults and youth. Gary retired from regular work with the orchestra in 2015, but continues to substitute as needed.
