Are you rehearsing during the summer? What are the next pieces you’ll be working on please?

    1. Hi Dottie,
Yes, we meet weekly the entire year (except on holidays). Our repertoire is varied, although we mostly play arrangements of classical music. Pieces include: Bach Brandenburg #3 and Sheep May Safely Graze (botharr.), Mozart Eine Kleine Nachtmusik Romanze and Menuet, Bartok Romanian Dances, Mason/Ungar Lover’s Waltz, Handel Water Music Air and Gigue, Joplin Entertainer (arr.), Smetana Moldau (arr.) and Amy Kahn Catharsis (arr.). I tend to focus on six to eight pieces over several weeks, which we work on for the first hour and a half and then during the last half hour I allow people to suggest from the 30 or so pieces they’ve worked on. I just returned from a long recovery from major surgery, so haven’t developed a repertoire plan yet.
Come check us out on Wednesdays 6:15 – 8:30 at Swan School. We’d love to meet you.
